- Improving teaching staff ICT confidence and competence.
- Promoting the use of the PNS progression in ICT materials.
- Supporting schools in embedding ICT within a creative curriculum.
- Supporting schools in implementing effective ICT assessment procedures.
- Strengthening procedures for effective ICT transition between key stages.
- Publishing exemplar planning, assessment and learning/teaching materials.
- Updating and publishing the revised ICT Subject Leaders' pack.

- Publishing details of the Becta standards and guidance on the Kent NGfL website.

Increase the capacity of clusters to support and sustain ICT development within schools by:
- Supporting Clusters in appointing staff to coordinate Hands on Support provision.
- Providing ongoing guidance and support to HOS Providers.
- Providing appropriate CPD opportunities for HOS Providers.
- Working alongside Leading ICT Teachers to establish and develop Cluster based projects.
- Supporting Clusters in conducting an annual review of Hands on Support provision.
- Working with Clusters to evaluate the impact of individual projects.
- Monitoring the impact of HOS in raising standards within schools .
