Instructions for how to use the Mini Handheld Metal Detector
     

Turn the wheel forwards until you hear a continuous 'beep'.

Turn the wheel backwards very slowly until the 'beeping' stops

 
 

Cover the wheel with some masking tape. It's a good idea to fold the end over to make a little tab so that you can remove and replace it quickly.

 

Fill your Tuff Spot / Builder's Tray / Classroom Drawers with dry porridge oats.

This activity is best used on the floor. The metal in the tables and chairs will confuse the game otherwise.

 

Using the .pdf files below.....print, cut out, laminate and cut out again.

Then attach 10p coins to the reverse of each picture using double-sided sticky pads.
