Learning Intentions: To write name and labels using a range of mark making tools (CLL).
To find out about ourselves and others (KUW).
To choose colours and tools for a purpose (CD).

You will need: digital camera, printer.
The children used the digital camera to take pictures of each others faces. They sorted the pictures according to eye colour and made a pictogram. We counted how many children had green, blue or brown eyes.
You will need: Simple graph program.
 We recorded the information in a pictogram on the screen.

Activity one:
You will need: simple paint program.
Children selected tools and colours to draw a picture of themselves on the screen.

Activity two:
You will need: simple database. Children selected pictures in the database to record information about themselves.

Activity one:
You will need: paint, brushes, assortment of paper, paper plates. The children painted their own faces and faces of other people.
Activity two:
You will need: ‘At the Doctors' Clicker 4 grid (right click on this link to save on your computer).
The children used the CD Rom and Clicker 4 grid to support their imaginative play in the role play area.
Activity three:
You will need: simple paint program.
The children wrote their names and labels for their pictures on the screen.
