children to respond to music in different ways for example movement, making
shapes with their body, painting.

will need: simple paint program.
Children record their responses using a simple paint program.

Compare pictures
created on screen with those ceated using different media for example
chalk, charcoal, printing.

Explore musical activities with the children.

Activity one:
You will need: materials.
Create a musical instrument using different materials.
Record the sounds that they make using a tape recorder or sound recorder
and microphone. Try and match the musical instrument to the sound!
Activity two:
You will need: Musical Footnotes
(Music Education Supplies).
Explore creating your own musical sequences or repeating
sequences by standing on the footnotes!
