Activity One:
You will need: story CD, CD player, paper, pens.
Listen to and say the rhyme ‘Teddy Bears Picnic' or ‘Teddy Bear Teddy Bear Turn Around'. Create a story map to show your journey to the woods for a teddy bear's picnic. Write a list of the things that you will need to take with you. Can you make up your own rhyme? What other movements could the Teddy Bears Make?
Activity Two:
You will need: simple pictogram, plates, knives, bread, sandwich fillings.
Create a simple pictogram showing the children's favourite sandwich fillings. Make sandwiches to take on your Teddy Bear's Picnic!

Activity One:
You will need:microwave, digital weighting scales, measuring jug, porridge ingredients, different sized bowls and spoons.
Use the digital weighing scales to measure out ingredients to make porridge in the microwave. Explore different sized bowls and spoons and match these to the bears. Which bowl holds the most or least? Taste the porridge.
Activity Two:
You will need:shapes, paper, scissors, glue, Textease, shape bank.
Draw and cut out different shapes to create a teddy. How many different shapes have you used? How many circles can you see? Use a shape bank to create a teddy on the screen. How many four sided shapes have you used?
Activity Three:
You will need: Simple word processor, 2Publish, Clicker 5.
Design and write an invitation for the Teddy Bear's Picnic.

Activity One:
You will need: Pixie or programmable toy, cones, beanbags, story map.
Programme Pixie to go on a journey through the woods to the Teddy Bear's Picnic. Can you programme Pixie to take a different or shorter route?
Activity Two:
You will need: Card, paper, paper clips, split pins, hole punch, string, sellotape, stapler, elastic bands.
Design and make a teddy bear with moveable parts. Explore toys with moveable parts and discuss with the children how they are going to fix and join the materials.
Activity Three:
You will need: IWB or data projector and screen, internet access, teddy bear phonemes.
Match the phonemes on the teddy bears. Choose from upper and lower case letters.
