To allow pupils to work on an existing activity select Open Activity. The program will automatically open in Run Mode. Select Create Activity and ClozePro will open in Edit Mode to allow you to create new resources.

Working in Run Mode
Run mode must be selected to allow pupils to work on an activity.

Filling gaps
Left click on a word in the grid to add to the text.
There is no need to fill gaps in order, select the gap to be filled.

Speech
Right click on cell in grid to hear word.
To hear the current sentence in the text select the speech button.
You can select whether to allow pupils to hear the word that belongs in the gap.
Highlight any text you wish to hear and then select the speech button.

Click on the speech button at the end of an activity to hear all the text.
Right click on cell in grid to hear word.

The prompt tool

This may be used to hear clues to the missing word, either one letter at a time, or to flash the word.

Reports
A report may be viewed and printed. These summarise details about how an activity or sequence of activities have been completed by each pupil. Various options are possible to provide different levels of detail and to track progress.

The restart button will reload the original activity.

To remove text select Remove Words
Decide on the frequency of the words to be removed.A grid will be created containing the removed words in a random order

To remove individual words,phrases, letters or punctuation, double click on the text to be removed then select Remove Text
If you wish to remove whole phrases click at the start of the phrase and highlight all text to be removed. Click the Remove text button or Ctrl +X. To remove part of a word, highlight the section to be removed then click the Remove text button.

Position of Grid -Select bottom, Left or pop-up.

Remove words from the grid as they are used - Select Show same grid for each gap and then Remove words from grid as they are used.

Distracter words may be added to the grid. Select show different grid for each gap.

Prompt options

Open Activity Settings and select the Prompt tab.Set the prompt tool when working in Run Mode to one of the options. Do nothing will switch off the tool.

To add free activities

Visit the Cricksoft website and select Learning Grids
