Multimedia Authoring with Powerpoint

Using knowledge about plant growth gained from science lessons last year, we decided to try out PowerPoint as a tool for creating a presentation for other children.

This work addresses the QCA ICT Scheme of Work Unit 6A. We divided the project into six sessions, which are outlined below:

Session One Introducing PowerPoint to the children
Session Two Planning the presentation with the children
Session Three Creating the presentation
Session Four Introducing animation and sound
Session Five Evaluating the presentation and storyboarding
Session Six Adding Action Buttons to each slide.
