These pages offer a structured Internet searching activity that can be used while studying QCA History Unit 11 'What was it like for children living in Victorian Britain?'

This activity also has links to the QCA ICT Units 5B and 6D.

There are two levels to the activity. The beginner level provides links to web sites containing information on toys that Victorian children may have played with. The advanced level requires the children to use a search engine to investigate a number of Victorian toys and compile a 'scrapbook' of information they have found.
