Control, Modelling & Simulations at
Key Stage One
An opportunity to explore control, modelling and simulation, including the use of PIXIE, within a practical, hands-on training session.

| COURSE AIMS: |
- To develop teacher's knowledge and confidence in early control, modelling and simulation.
- To plan for opportunities and use the Pixie in the curriculum.
- To explore curriculum software and internet resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- To develop resources to support teaching and learning.

| COURSE OUTLINE: |
- To develop ideas for using the Pixie and creating resources.
- Use a paint program to explore different effects.
- Compose own musical masterpiece.
- Explore modelling and simulation software.

| COURSE BENEFITS: |
Each delegate will receive a Pixie (Swallow Systems). There will be an expectation that the impact of hardware and opportunities to develop early control, modelling and simulation in the curriculum will be reviewed. |
