Digital Movie Creators and Animations at KS1

An opportunity to explore movies and animation, including the use of a digital movie camera, within a practical, hands-on training session.

TARGET PERSONNEL:

Key Stage One Teachers and ICT Subject Leaders.

COURSE AIMS:

To develop teacher's knowledge and confidence in early animation. To plan for opportunities and use the digital movie creator in the curriculum. To explore curriculum software and internet resources to enhance teaching and learning. To develop resources to support teaching and learning.

COURSE OUTLINE:

Explore the movie creator and edit your own film. Create a stop frame animation. Explore software to create your own animated stories. Develop teaching and learning resources to use in your own setting.

COURSE BENEFITS:

Each delegate will receive a digital movie creator and single user copy of 2 Create a Story. There will be an expectation that the impact of hardware and the opportunities to embed ICT in the curriculum will be reviewed.
