Embedding ICT in Science at Foundation & KS1
An opportunity to explore the use of ICT within science, including the use of a computer microscope, within a practical, hands-on training session.

| COURSE AIMS: |
To develop teacher's knowledge and confidence in embedding ICT within KUW and science.
To plan for opportunities and use the digital microscope in the curriculum.
To explore curriculum software and internet resources to enhance teaching and learning.
To develop resources to support teaching and learning. |
| COURSE OUTLINE: |
- Get close to seeds and plants using the digital microscope.
- Make your own minibeasts database.
- Use Clicker 5 to record ideas about light and dark.
- Create your own teaching / learning resources to take away.

| COURSE BENEFITS: |
| Each delegate will receive a digital microscope (QX5 computer microscope TAG). There will be an expectation that the impact of hardware and the opportunities to embed ICT in the curriculum will be reviewed. |
