World War II Activity Day at Sholden Primary School
on Tuesday 1st April 2008

Key Stage 2 pupils at Sholden Primary school have been researching and learning about life in Britain during World War II.

To help answer three key questions, the pupils took part in a special World War II Activity Day.

• Why were children evacuated from London and the surrounding area?

• What was it like to be an Evacuee?

• What was “The Blitz?”
