We examined Gas Masks worn by Adults and
Children during World War II.

We discussed what it would have been like at night in an Air Raid shelter.

To find out what people were able to eat during World War II we looked inside the ration book.

We used the information gathered to plan the week’s meals for an adult and two children.

Designing and Making a Gas Mask

We used the information gathered in the afternoon to design and make our own “Gas Masks” using materials we had collected and brought to school from home.
