Combining text and graphics

In this unit pupils learn how to communicate messages by using a combination of graphics and text. They also learn the importance of saving their work. Pupils will apply what they have learnt in this unit when writing reports; producing multimedia presentations.

Combining text and graphics Children design a poster to illustrate foods for growth and foods that help us stay active. Science 3A Teeth and Healthy Eating

Children could use the computer to make text and pictures for their packaging D&T 3A Packaging

Make a class book to show the different aspects of life in a historical time being studied.

Children write and illustrate the Christmas or Easter stories.

Children write a play script based on a well known fable or story. They could extend this by creating a programme or flyer for their play.
