Multimedia Presentation

In this unit pupils learn to create a multimedia presentation using text, images, and sounds. They will be taught to create links between pages and show sensitivity to the needs of their audience. Pupils will apply what they have learnt in this unit when communicating and presenting information in music, art, history, geography, science, design and technology.

6A Lite - ICT Lites are concise sheets showing the objectives, key skills and techniques to be taught, without the suggested teaching activities.

Assessment: Pupil Self Review Statements

Remember to allow time for children to evaluate, review and refine their presentation. This should be an ongoing process through all the lessons.

Teaching Activities

They could create a presentation on:

  • their school trip

Children could import:

  • animations created using Pivot Animator or other software.
  • videos e.g. children doing a news report.
