Ask the children to examine these, using a viewfinder to select a small area. They take this as a starting point for their own design on the computer, using a variety of drawing and painting tools. The children might draw and fill in the shapes they have identified in their observational drawings. The children print their work, discuss their designs and give reasons for choosing the particular tools. They describe the effects produced. Learning Outcomes
