Dunn's River Falls

Dunn's River Falls are found on Dunn's river in Jamaica. They are about 1 mile from the town of Ocho Rios, on the northern coastline of Jamaica.

Facts

  • Dunn's River Falls is the the only waterfall in the world which forms the mouth of a river. The mouth is into the Caribbean Sea.
  • Dunn's River Falls are about 200 metres high.
  • They form a series of cataracts which people can climb.
  • The Falls are a popular tourist attraction for people staying in Jamaica or taking excursions from cruise boats.
  • It takes about an hour to climb up Dunn's River Falls.
  • People form a daisy chain as they climb up the falls.
