Lake

A natural lake is a hollow area of land which is filled with water. Famous lakes are the Aral Sea, the Dead Sea, and Lake Baikal. Some lakes have rivers flowing into or out of them. Lake Baikal is an example where several minor rivers flow into the lake, but only one comes out.

Other lakes are artificial (man-made). These are called reservoirs.
