39: Meander

1) Draw a neat copy of the meander site diagram. Label the following areas:

- right bank
- left bank
- outside bend
- inside bend
- areas of erosion, and the type of erosion you found
- areas of deposition, and what sediment was deposited
- any other important features such as clumps of grass in the river.

2) Draw a red arrow -----> to show the fastest flow of water.

3) Draw a green arrow -----> to show the slowest flow of water.

4) Now answer these questions, writing your answers in full sentences to make a paragraph:

Where was erosion found, at which bank and which bend?
