Information
These pages make up a web enquiry designed
for Year 5 children studying the QCA History Unit 14 'Who were the ancient
Greeks?'. The activities centre around ancient Greek religion and help
the children investigate who the ancient Greeks worshipped and why.
A series of questions is presented
on a web page. After each question is a link to a web resource where
the children will find information that will help them reach an answer.
Not all the answers are directly contained
in the resources, the children should be encouraged to infer answers
from the historical sources presented. Some questions ask the children
for their opinions and an explanation.

There are two sheets to help the children record their findings.
They are in Microsoft Word format and can be printed and given
to the children before they begin the enquiry.
To download the sheets, right click
the pictures and select 'Save Target
As...' Browse to a suitable location on your computer and
click Save.
