For or Against?
Although not everyone would agree,
I want to argue that school uniform
is not a good idea and we should be able to wear our own clothes
in school.
I have several reasons for arguing
for this point of view. My first reason is that
school uniform is expensive and, as we have our own clothes anyway,
it is an unnecessary expense.
A further reason is that
wearing school uniform is not always comfortable. We are too hot
in summer and cold in winter and at playtime we are restricted
by the uniform we have to wear.
My final reason is uniform
does not give us a chance to express our personalities because
when we wear it we all look the same.
Therefore, although some people
might argue that uniform is a
good idea,
I think I have shown that it would be better
if we wore our own clothes to school.
