Interactive Whiteboard Resources for Science
|
|
We have put many interactive whiteboard resources on the topic pages. You will also find there links to websites which are ideal for showing or interactive with on IWBs.
Interactive whiteboards can be used for displaying anything on your computer.
This gives you scope to use resources such as:
- Presentation software
- Word-processing software
- CD-ROMs
- The Internet
- Image files (eg photographs, drawings, diagrams, screenshots)
- Video files
- Links to sound files. Any sound included in a CD-ROM or Internet page will also play, providing that speakers are attached.
The IWB is an ideal way of showing the whole class objects under the microscope.
Children can use video cameras to create a report of their investigations to show the class.
Items displayed on the whiteboards can be used as a stimulus for whole class discussions.
Promethean Flipcharts
The following Promethean Flipcharts have been created by Nadeem Qureshi, a Year 6 teacher at Chevening Primary School.
