Know that sounds are produced when objects vibrate; know about pitch, loudness and that sounds travel through solids , water and air.
 Children can explore sounds using datalogging equipment e.g. to find the best soundproof material. They analyse the results in a spreadsheet and come to conclusions.

Children use software to create images to match the sound.
