FlashMeeting - video conferencing

What is FlashMeeting?

FlashMeeting is a free web based one-click video conferencing tool that allows pupils to link with schools anywhere across the world. Conferences can be viewed over and over again using the applications replay facility.

Why we used FlashMeeting

At the end of the project pupils from ten schools took part in web conferences using FlashMeeting with Michele Gregson. The sessions were an opportunity for pupils to:

• Discuss their own and others Art work

• View painting and sculptures by famous artists

• Explore using alternative art tools and materials

• Receive feedback

• Listen to the thoughts and opinions of pupils in other schools

* Harbour School and Godinton Primary had INSET Days on Friday 4th April 2008 and were unable to take part. To receive feedback on their work messages were recorded on the day for the pupils to playback and listen to next term.
