Weather Watch Music, Art and ICT Project

Twenty teachers from schools across the County attended the recent Music, Art and ICT workshop at Oaktree primary school, Ashford on Friday 9th May 2008.

During the session the teachers created with Helen MacGregor (ASK Music Advisor) and Michele Gregson (ASK Art and Sesign Advisory Teacher) their own musical compositions and 3-D weather "sound" sculptures.

Following a break for coffee the group were shown by Karl Bentley (ASONE ICT AST) and Phil Bracegirdle how to edit sound files using Audacity and publish work on "Making the News."

Year 4 at Ramsgate Holy Trinity CEP School have really enjoyed composing their own weather music.
