Central London Weather l France Weather l Gran Canaria Weather l Greece Weather l World Weather Day proved to be an exciting experience for many of our International and Kentish Students. This was the first time that many of them had taken part in a video conferencing. Consideration had to be taken about how we manage video conferencing with different time zones, languages, bandwidths and ages of students. We found out that Kenya has more or less the same hours of dark and light all the year round, due to the fact that the Equator runs through their country.
We saw art work of the weather , heard songs linked to the weather and countries had their flags and also artefacts to show. Below are two screen shots from the Flashmeeting video conferencing with Poland.
Schools who took part
Life in Kenya Students of Peponi School share with us the food, jobs, animals and general life in their country of Kenya. Life in Poland The pupils at Peponi school, created these lovely textured pictures of the weather by giving all the children a sheet of sand paper for their work.
