A potentially exciting initiative to promote literature. A resource that teachers might use to find information on local courses, festivals etc. Pupils could access this site to give them ideas for enriching their own writing.

• Very useful links to other websites, e.g. libraries, museums, performance venues, publications.
• Helpful tips for would-be writers, including details of courses for both teachers and pupils.
• How to find a writer to come to school to take workshops or INSET etc.

A wordy - though worthy - site. I suggest you go to the site, click on the star shaped icon then click on "press releases" which gives a concise overview of what this initiative is all about.
