This site has a great deal of useful notes on the text ranging from character studies to motifs. It is packed with detail but is also full of hypertext links which can mean that it is not always clear, but it is worth persevering for some interesting comment.

Useful for more able and older students and as a reference guide for teachers. Handy background information can be extracted through closer reading and the site also inlcudes the entire text with a multitude of links.
