Site Summary: Rocky

This is a very extensive programme which has many photographic images of |British coastlines. It has detailed information about the rocks and coastal formations of the Dorset coast. There is an animated programme on continental drift that requires the downloading of 'shockwave flash' which takes some time to set up, but is worth the wait. It shows the formation of the earth and culminates in an interesting continental drift movement from formation to present day. There are also a number of walks in places such as Glasgow, Dover, Birmingham, Cardiff etc. Some of this, such as photographs, will be useful for KS2 and KS3 with teacher guidance.
